In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the transfer and posting of 10 IAS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre. The move impacts several key departments across the Union Territory.
As per the official order, IAS Naveen SL (2012 batch) has been shifted from his role as Secretary of the Transport Department to the Civil Aviation Department. In addition to this new role, he will also hold the charge of Commissioner, Civil Aviation. Meanwhile, IAS Avny Lavasa (2013 batch), who was previously on the waiting list for a posting, has been appointed as Secretary, Transport Department.
IAS Anshul Garg (2013 batch), currently serving as the CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir. Replacing him at the shrine board will be IAS Sachin Kumar Vaishya (2015 batch), who has been transferred from the post of Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.
IAS Vikas Kundal (2013 batch), formerly the Deputy Commissioner of Poonch, has been named the new Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB). IAS Gurpal Singh (2014 batch) moves from his position as Director, Social Welfare, Jammu to become the Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL).
IAS Anil Banka (2015 batch), who was awaiting a posting, has now been appointed as Special Secretary in the Finance Department. IAS Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (2016 batch), the former MD of JPDCL, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara.
Further, IAS Rakesh Minhas (2016 batch) has been moved from his role as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, and will now serve as Deputy Commissioner, Jammu. IAS Ayushi Sudan (2017 batch), currently the Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Samba.
