Manoj Kumar Appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer at JN Port Authority

The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar, an Indian Revenue Service officer of the 2003 batch, as the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), Mumbai. Kumar’s appointment comes as a significant development in the governance structure of one of India’s foremost port authorities, falling under the purview of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways.

Taking the helm from his predecessor, IRTS officer Vidyadhar A Malegaonkar, Kumar steps into his role with a wealth of experience and a proven track record in administrative and vigilance matters. The appointment, effective immediately upon assuming office, is slated for an initial term of three years, subject to further extension or modification as per the directives of the DoPT order.
