Kolkata: Union Minister of State for Ayush and Women and Child Development Dr Mahendrabhai Munjapara inaugurated the conference on Homeopathy at Kolkata with the aim to achieve ‘Sarvajnaya Swasthya’, on Thursday.
Union Minister of State for Ayush and Women and Child Development, Dr Mahendrabhai Munjapara, officially inaugurated the two-day Homeopathy conference in Kolkata. The conference aims to achieve ‘Sarvajnaya Swasthya’, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to healthcare.
The conference was organised by Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy through Dr Anjali Chatterjee Regional Research Institute for Homoeopathy as an East zone event, to lead homoeopathy to a stage where it becomes the primary choice for patient treatment, wellness, health promotion, and disease prevention – a goal en-capsulated by ‘Sarvajnaya Swasthya’.
While inaugurating the conference, Dr. Munjapara praised the clinical benefits of homoeopathy and commended the ongoing research efforts. He highlighted the significant advancements being made across all systems of Ayush. Furthermore, he apprised the attendees that the Ministry of Ayush is actively promoting infrastructure development, human resource enhancement, drug development, and the creation of Ayush resources based on research and best practices.
The Minister also emphasized the need to present the world with comprehensive clinical and research evidence that supports the effectiveness of homoeopathy. It is noteworthy that West Bengal serves as the thriving hub of Homoeopathy in India, playing a significant role in its nationwide proliferation.
This endeavor sets the stage for India to achieve global dominance in homeopathic education, practice, and research, by wholeheartedly ensuring that all treatments and approaches adhere to high-quality, evidence-based standards.
