National e-Governance Division partners with IIM-Bangalore for Digital Government Senior Leaders’ Programme

A 6-day training programme on ‘Digital Government Senior Leaders’ is being conducted by NeGD in collaboration with MeitY and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore from July 29- August 3, 2024. Programme inaugurated with the participation of 26 participants from Delhi, Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

The Digital Government Senior Leaders’ Programme (DGSLP) is a meticulously designed programme to provide participants with exposure to the benefits and potential impacts of digital government on public service delivery, citizen engagement, and organizational effectiveness. It also addresses contemporary issues in managing large-scale digital governance projects and enables sharing insights from successful implementations and challenges encountered.

The programme is designed to develop the competencies and skills needed for officers to effectively conceptualize and implement impactful e-Governance projects. Under the Capacity Building Scheme,  the programme is designed to spread awareness on e-Governance & capacity building of Govt Departments to take steps towards securing a resilient e-infra.

This initiative is part of the broader Capacity Building scheme under the Digital India Programme, which seeks to cultivate relevant skills across all government levels.
