National Startup Advisory Council Nominates Non-Official Members for the Next Term

The National Startup Advisory Council (NSAC), constituted by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has announced the nomination of non-official members for the next term following the completion of the two-year tenure.

The NSAC, a pivotal force in shaping the landscape of India’s startup ecosystem, has been instrumental in advising the Government on policies and programs to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth. The newly nominated non-official members, representing diverse stakeholders, are as follows:

The council has played a pivotal role in the implementation of various programs, including the NavIC Grand Challenge, Start-up India Investor Connect Portal, MAARG Portal, National Incubator Capacity Building Program, and Doordarshan’s Start-up Champions.

The NSAC continues to focus on fostering a culture of innovation, promoting innovation across all sectors, supporting creative ideas through incubation, creating an environment for the absorption of innovation in industry, and facilitating public organizations in embracing innovation for improved service delivery.
