The new key appointments of IAS officers across West Bengal and Jharkhand have been announced recently.
Dipankar Chaudhary, a 2020 batch officer from the Jharkhand cadre, currently serving as the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) in Deogarh, is set to take on a new role. Chaudhary has been appointed as the Project Director of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) in Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum.
Shubhanjan Das, an IAS officer from the 2005 batch of the West Bengal cadre, is also stepping into a crucial role. Formerly the Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department, Das has now been appointed as the District Election Officer for Kolkata North.
Mohammad Ghulam Ali Ansari, a seasoned IAS officer from the 2000 batch of the West Bengal cadre, has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Divisional Commissioner for Malda Division. Ansari, who previously served as Secretary of the Minority Affairs and Madrasa Education Department, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Additionally, he held key positions as Commissioner of Malda Division and Chairman of the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC).
