A report by the parliamentary standing committee tabled in the Lok Sabha on Thursday has revealed that the number of disabled students availing Free Coaching Scholarship from 2019 to 2022 was zero.

The committee has found out that the target set under the Free Coaching Scholarship Scheme for students with disabilities could not be achieved as empanelment of coaching institutes could not be done, in view f the guidelines for coaching institutions with regard to the special need of Divyangjan.
