Over 50,000 Organisations Register for Yoga Sangam 2025: Rajasthan Leads National Participation for International Day of Yoga

In a landmark moment for India’s wellness movement, the upcoming 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) is set to witness an unprecedented scale of participation through Yoga Sangam 2025, scheduled for June 21st from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM. According to the Ministry of Ayush, over 50,000 organisations from across the country have registered to host events, marking a historic milestone in collective health engagement.

Rajasthan has taken the lead with more than 11,000 organisations registered—the highest among all states. It is closely followed by Telangana with over 7,000 registrations, and Madhya Pradesh with nearly 5,000 registrations.

This year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” underlines a universal message of unity, environmental consciousness, and holistic well-being. The movement has garnered widespread support from institutions and organisations across sectors. Notable participants include IITs, IIMs, Central Universities, and a significant number of corporate and private sector entities, all aligning their efforts with the global wellness mission.

The Ministry of Ayush continues to follow the decentralised model adopted in previous years to ensure widespread and inclusive participation. The initiative is being facilitated through the Yoga Sangam portal (yoga.ayush.gov.in/yoga-sangam), which serves as a central hub for registrations, information, and post-event documentation.

How to Participate:

  1. Visit: https://yoga.ayush.gov.in/yoga-sangam
  2. Register your group or organisation
  3. Conduct a yoga session on 21st June 2025 from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM
  4. Upload participation details after the event to receive an official Certificate of Appreciation

With over one lakh locations expected to host IDY events this year, the Ministry has extended an open invitation to citizens, institutions, and community groups to join in this celebration of India’s ancient wellness tradition.
