The Punjab government has made significant changes in the administrative setup by transferring and appointing several IAS officers to key positions.
IAS Apneet Riyait (2011 batch) has been appointed as the Special Secretary, Personnel. IAS Kanwal Preet Brar (2007 batch) will now serve as the Managing Director of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Ltd.
IAS Upkar Singh (2015 batch) has been posted as the Special Secretary of the Revenue & Rehabilitation Department while IAS Harbir Singh (2013 batch) will now serve as the Special Secretary of the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development & Fisheries Department.
IAS Arshdeep Singh Thind from 2004 batch has assumed the role of the Secretary of the Revenue & Rehabilitation Department.
