RBI Approves Appointment of Pranav Chawda as CEO of JP Morgan India

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has granted approval for the appointment of Pranav Chawda as the CEO of JP Morgan Chase & Co’s domestic banking unit – JP Morgan India – for a term of three years.

Chawda, who is currently heading the commercial banking division at JP Morgan India, will now take on an expanded role overseeing both commercial and corporate banking operations. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the bank’s position in India’s rapidly growing financial sector.
