A major bureaucratic reshuffle in various departments has been ordered by the appointments Committee of the Cabinet. Following are the names:
IAS Indra Mallo has been appointed as Joint Secretary, National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC). IAS Krishan Kumar took over as MD of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
IRSS Apparao Veerelli has been designated as CEO, Development & Welfare Board for Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNCs) under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and IRSME Akhilesh Misra as ED (Personnel) of Food Corporation of India (Hqrs).
IFoS Anand Kumar Jha and IPS Bhavna Saxena have been appointed as Joint Secretary of Ministry of Cooperation and Ministry of AYUSH, respectively.
On the other hand, both IRS Madhukar Kumar Bhagat and IRS Meera Srivastava have been designated as Joint Secretaries of Department of Health & Family Welfare.
IRAS Shreeshail Malge and IRSME Anjali Sinha took charge as Joint Secretaries of Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Department of Atomic Energy respectively.
Whereas, ICAS Binod Kumar, CSS Arvind Kumar have been designated as Secretaries of National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and National Commission for Allied & Healthcare Profession (NCAHP), respectively.
Other officials, who have been appointed as Joint secretaries of various departments are IRSSE Krishan Kumar Singh at Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, IRAS Dhrubajyoti Sengupta at Department of Pension and Pensioners’Welfare, IFoS Rajeev Kumar Tiwari at National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) and IDAS Devendra Kumar Rai at Department of Telecommunications.
CSS Sreyasi Chaudhuri is now a Financial Adviser (FA) and CSS Sumita Singh (CSS) is Advisor at National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Newly appointed Additional Secretaries at Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) are IP&TA&FS Yashashri Shukla and IP&TA&FS Kumar Sanjay Bariar, respectively.
ICAS Shailendra Kumar designated as Joint Secretary, Inquiry Commission (into whether Dalit converts to religions other than Sikhism or Budhhism should get SC status) under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.
