In a recent development, former Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal (Retd IAS: 1986: HY) has been appointed as the Chairman of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) for a period of two years.
Kaushal, who retired on July 31, 2024, replaces A K Singh (IAS: 1991: HY), Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department, as the Chairman of HPGCL.
This appointment is seen as a strategic move to leverage Kaushal’s vast experience and expertise in the administration and energy sector to drive the growth and development of HPGCL.
