The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the esteemed IIT Kanpur, has initiated of the SATHEE (Self-Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Examination) portal. This revolutionary platform aims to provide high-quality education to students aspiring to excel in competitive examinations such as JEE, NEET, and various State-level engineering and other entrance exams.
In a bid to democratize access to quality education, the Ministry of Education has reached out to all States and UTs, urging them to disseminate information about the SATHEE portal among educators and students. This online resource is designed to support students in their preparation for competitive exams and enhance their overall knowledge.
To further aid students preparing for JEE and other engineering examinations, a 45-day crash course for JEE was launched on November 21, 2023. This intensive program has been meticulously curated by IIT toppers, academicians, and subject experts, ensuring a comprehensive and effective learning experience. The crash course is available in five languages, including English, making it accessible to a wider audience.
In a significant move toward inclusivity, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has developed an AI-based translation tool that supports 22 Indian languages. This tool enhances accessibility for students across diverse linguistic backgrounds, fostering equal opportunities for all.
To create awareness about this innovative platform and its associated tools, several workshops and seminars have been organized in institutions and colleges across the country. As of December 12, 2023, the SATHEE platform has witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 60,000 students registering to benefit from its educational offerings.
