The Atal Incubation Centre – BIMTECH has onboarded Surya Kant as its new CEO. A seasoned strategist and innovation leader, Surya Kant brings over 15 years of experience across the startup ecosystem, public policy, trade, investment, and strategic partnerships.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Program Director at the MeitY Startup Hub, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. In this role, he was instrumental in driving nationwide initiatives to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
Throughout his distinguished career, Surya Kant has worked across key government ministries—including the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Skill Development, and Ministry of Electronics & IT—as well as state-led programs such as Startup Odisha. His consultancy stints include engagements with Big 4 firms and investment bodies, where he played a pivotal role in shaping startup policies and promoting innovation-led growth.
Under India’s G20 Presidency, Surya Kant notably led the G20-Digital Innovation Alliance Summit. The summit brought together top startups from G20 nations across key sectors including HealthTech, EdTech, FinTech, AgriTech, Circular Economy, and Secure Digital Infrastructure, enhancing global collaboration and positioning India as a hub for digital innovation.
