Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Unveils First TATA.ev Stores in Gurugram

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors has inaugurated its first two electric vehicle-exclusive showrooms in Gurugram. These TATA.ev stores, strategically located in Sector-14 and Sohna Road, mark a significant step in Tata Motors’ commitment to shaping the future of sustainable and electric mobility.

Environmentally Conscious Design

The newly inaugurated TATA.ev stores showcase Tata Motors’ dedication to environmental sustainability. Constructed using locally sourced recycled or recyclable materials, the stores aim to minimize their environmental impact by avoiding long-distance, high-emission transportation. This initiative aligns with Tata Motors’ broader commitment to eco-friendly practices and responsible business operations.

Community-Centric Spaces

TATA.ev stores are not just showrooms; they are community hubs designed to foster a sense of belonging among Tata EV users. These spaces offer a platform for community engagement, featuring events listed in the EVOLVE community calendar. Current EV owners’ testimonials addressing challenges and dispelling myths about electric vehicles take center stage, providing potential buyers with valuable insights and first-hand experiences.

Tata Motors: Driving India’s Electric Revolution

With a commanding 71% share in India’s EV market, Tata Motors has been at the forefront of driving the electric revolution in the country. The introduction of electric variants of popular models such as Nexon, Tigor, and Tiago has been instrumental in surpassing the milestone of 100,000 electric car sales. The TATA.ev stores represent a natural extension of Tata Motors’ commitment to providing a seamless and engaging experience to current and prospective EV owners.

Future Expansion Plans

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, expressed excitement about the launch of the TATA.ev stores and outlined ambitious plans for the future. ‘These stores are a testament to our commitment to creating a sustainable and connected EV ecosystem. Over the next 12-18 months, we plan to open more such stores across key locations, providing accessibility and convenience to a wider audience,’ he announced.

The TATA.ev stores in Gurugram are set to open their doors to the public on January 7, 2024, inviting enthusiasts, potential buyers, and the curious to explore the future of electric mobility with Tata Motors.
