In a major administrative reshuffle of IAS officers, the Telangana State Government, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, has transferred and posted around 40 bureaucrats.
According to orders issued by the Chief Secretary, Energy Department principal secretary Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi has been transferred and posted as principal secretary in the Commercial Taxes and Excise department. He will be replaced by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner D. Ronald Rose, who has also been appointed as chairman and managing director of TG Transco and Genco.
Amrapali Kata, the HMDA metropolitan commissioner, has been given full responsibility as GHMC commissioner. The transfers also included new postings for a few IPS officers.
Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999), Principal Secretary to Government, Energy Department, has been relocated and appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Commercial Taxes & Excise Department.
Sudharshan Reddy, IAS (2002), the Managing Director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), has been relocated and appointed as the Secretary to the Government (Services & HRM), General Administration Department. This transfer relieves M. Raghunandan Rao, IAS (2002)of the FAC of the aforementioned position.
Dr. Jyoti Buddha Prakash, IAS (2002), who was previously the Commissioner of Transport, has been relocated and appointed as the Secretary to the Government for Registrations and Stamps and the Secretary to the Government for Housing. Jyoti is also appointed to the FAC of the following positions: Commissioner & Inspector General, Registrations & Stamps, Commissioner, Survey Settlements & Land Records, and PD, Bhubharathi. This action relieves Navin Mittal, IAS (1996) of the FAC of the aforementioned positions.
Buddha Prakash will remain in the position of Commissioner, Transport until Ilambarithi K., IAS (2005) assumes the position.
Soni Bala Devi, IFS (2002), Special Secretary to Government, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department, has been relocated and appointed as the Managing Director of the Sports Authority of Telangana. This action relieves Korra Lakshmi, IAS (2012), of her duties in the aforementioned position. Ilambarithi has been appointed as Commissioner upon his reporting to the cadre, while Transport Vice President Jyoti Buddha Prakash has already been transferred.
Ronald Rose, IAS (2006), Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), has been relocated and appointed as the Secretary to the Government, Energy Department, in place of Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999).
Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi is relieved of his position as FAC of the posts CMD, GENCO, and TRANSCO as a result of the MOS being placed in the FAC.
Vice Nyalakonda Prakash Reddy, IPS(2010), AV Ranganath, IPS(2006), Inspector General of Police, Multi-Zone-I, Hyderabad, has been relocated and appointed as Commissioner, Enforcement, Vigilance & Disaster Management, GHMC.
Sridevasena, IAS (2008), Commissioner of School Education, has been relocated and appointed as Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education, thereby relieving B. Venkatesham, IAS (1995), of the FAC of the aforementioned position.
Sarfaraz Ahmad, IAS (2009), Joint Chief Electoral Officer O/o CEO, Telangana, has been relocated and placed in the position of Metropolitan Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA). This transfer relieves M. Dana Kishore, IAS (1996), of the FAC of the aforementioned position.
Director of Municipal Administration D.Divya, IAS (2010), has been relocated and appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Society for the Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), a position that has been duly relieved.
Anita Ramachandran, IAS (2004), is a member of the FAC for the aforementioned position. The MOS will also serve as the State Nodal Officer, Prajavani.

Harichandana Dasari, IAS (2010), who is currently awaiting a posting, has been appointed as the Special Secretary to the Government, Roads & Buildings Department.
Nyalakonda Prakash Reddy, IPS (2010), Director of Vigilance, Enforcement, and Disaster Management at the GHMC, has been transferred to the position of Managing Director at the TG Tourism Development Corporation Limited. This follows the transfer of K. Ramesh Naidu, IPS (2006).
On transfer, K. Ramesh Naidu, IPS (2006), is instructed to report to the Office of the Director General of Police (HOPF).
Alagu Varsini VS, IAS (2012) is appointed as the Secretary of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society (TSWREIS) upon his transfer, thereby displacing K. Seetha IAS (2018) from the position.
VP Gautham, IAS (2014), who is currently awaiting a posting, has been appointed as the Special Secretary to the Government, Housing. The MOS is also assigned to the FAC of the Director, Municipal Administration position, following the transfer of D.Divya, IAS (2010). The MoS will serve as the FAC for the following positions: Director, Weaker Section Housing Programme; MD Telangana State Housing Corporation; CEO DILL; VC & Housing Commissioner, Telangana Housing Board; and MD Telangana Rajiv Swagruha Corporation Ltd.
Ahmad Nadeem, IAS (1997), shall be relieved of his position as FAC of the Director, Employment & Training post by Krishna Aditya S, IAS (2014), Director, Labour.
Director of Horticulture K. Ashok Reddy, IAS (2014), has been transferred to the position of Managing Director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) in lieu of C. Sudharshan Reddy, IAS (2002), who has also been transferred.
Anuraag Jayanti, IAS (2015), who is currently awaiting a posting, has been appointed as the Zonal Commissioner of the GHMC in Khairtabad.
Pamela Satpathy, IAS (2015), has been retained as the Collector and District Magistrate of Karimnagar.

Nikhila, IAS (2015), Director of Tourism, has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Telangana Institute of Rural Development (TGIRD). She replaces P. Katyayani Devi, IAS (2017), who has also been transferred.
SK Yasmeen Basha, IAS (2015), who is currently awaiting an appointment, has been appointed as the Director of Horticulture and Sericulture in lieu of K. Ashok Reddy, IAS (2014), who was transferred. EV Narasimha Reddy, IAS (2017), Director of Tribal Welfare, has been relocated and appointed as Director of School Education in place of A. Sridevasena. The Minister of State (MoS) has been appointed as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Telangana Education & Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGEWIDC) and the State Project Director of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, succeeding Mallaiah Battu. Mallaiah Battu is returned to his parent department, BC Welfare, upon transfer.
Bhorkade Hemant Sahadeorao, IAS (2018), who is currently awaiting posting, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the TG Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (TSMSIDC). This appointment relieves RV Karnan, IAS (2012), of the FAC of the aforementioned position.
