2 New Information Commissioners Take Charge at Central Information Commission

The Central Information Commission has welcomed Smt. Anandi Ramalingam and Shri Vinod Kumar Tiwari as the latest additions to its esteemed team of Information Commissioners. Anandi Ramalingam, prior to assuming the role of Information Commissioner, served as the Chairperson and Managing Director at Bharat Electronics Ltd. (MoD, GOI), bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in procurement, equipment development, and coordination with diverse authorities. Her background in Electronics & Communication Engineering further enriches her comprehensive understanding of technical intricacies and RTI matters.

Vinod Kumar Tiwari, a distinguished Indian Forest Service Officer, has held various crucial positions, including the Head of Force-cum-Principal Chief Conservator of Forests at the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department, Shimla. His strong foundation in science and geology, coupled with his extensive experience in administration, underscores his valuable contributions to the field of governance and its associated intricacies.
