6 IAS Officers Transferred in Major Tripura Bureaucratic Reshuffle

In an administrative reshuffle, the Tripura government has issued transfer orders for six IAS officers, reshaping key departments and leadership roles across the state.

As per the official notification, IAS Megha Jain has been appointed as the Director of Urban Development, Tripura. Alongside this responsibility, she will also serve as the Commissioner of the Tripura Urban Development Authority (TUDA) and the CEO of the Tripura Jal Board. Jain was previously posted as the Additional District Magistrate and Collector of West Tripura.

Among other major changes, IAS Tarit Kanti Chakma, who was serving as the District Magistrate and Collector of Gomati District (Udaipur), has been appointed as the CEO of the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) in Agartala.

IAS Rinku Lather, earlier posted as ADM & Collector of Sepahijala and Additional Commissioner, Agartala Municipal Corporation, has now taken over as the DM & Collector of Gomati District, Udaipur.

IAS Saju Vaheed A has been given charge as the Managing Director of the National Health Mission and Member Secretary of the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). He replaces IAS Prashant Badal Negi, who has been relieved from his responsibilities under both NHM and NAM.

IAS Dr. Sailesh will continue in his roles as Director of Industries & Commerce and CEO of Agartala Smart City, but he has been relieved of his skill development portfolio as part of the changes.

Lastly, IAS Pradip K., who was earlier serving as ADM & Collector, South Tripura (Belonia), has now assumed charge as the Director of Skill Development.
