Air Commodore Debakinandan Sahu Assumes Command of Base Repair Depot, Tughlakabad

Air Commodore Debakinandan Sahu has officially taken over the command of Base Repair Depot (BRD) at Tughlakabad, succeeding Air Commodore Rishi Seth. The handing over/taking over ceremony was marked by an impressive parade conducted by the depot personnel, showcasing the high standards and discipline of the Indian Air Force.

Commissioned into the Aeronautical Engineering stream of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on May 30, 1994, Air Commodore Sahu brings with him a wealth of experience and technical expertise. He is an alumnus of prestigious institutions such as the Air Force Technical College (AFTC), Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), and College of Air Warfare, Secunderabad. His extensive background spans aviation and Guided Weapon Missile systems, adding significant depth to his new role.

Throughout his distinguished career, Air Commodore Sahu has held several key appointments, including Chief Engineering Officer of a premier Air Force Base, as well as staff positions at Operational Command Headquarters and Air Headquarters. His exemplary service to the nation was honored with the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India on January 26, 2023.
