S M Ramanathan Selected as Director (Engineering, Research & Development) at BHEL

The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has selected S M Ramanathan for the prestigious post of Director (Engineering, Research & Development) at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Undertaking.

Ramanathan, who currently serves as the Executive Director at BHEL, emerged as the top choice after a competitive selection process that included interviews with ten candidates. His appointment is subject to requisite clearances and the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).

He will succeed Jai Prakash Srivastava, who retires today after a distinguished tenure in the position.
