IPS Karthik Reddy Assumes Charge as DIG –Traffic, Bengaluru

IPS officer Karthik Reddy has officially taken charge as the Deputy Inspector General and Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Bengaluru. He succeeds IPS M.N. Anucheth in the role.

A 2009-batch IPS officer, Reddy holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from RV College of Engineering, where he studied from 2003 to 2007. Known for his technical expertise and field experience, he has served in various capacities across Karnataka.

Reddy began his policing career as an Assistant Superintendent of Police and went on to serve as Superintendent of Police in districts including Bijapur, Tumkur, and Ramanagara. In his most recent posting as SP, Wireless, Bengaluru, he led efforts to modernise police communication systems in the city.
