V Hekali Zhimomi, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary of Medical Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education. In this role, Zhimomi will oversee the departments’ administrative and policy responsibilities.
The appointment places Zhimomi in a key leadership position across the health and medical education sectors. As Principal Secretary, Zhimomi will contribute to the administration and implementation of the departments’ programmes and priorities.
