Ranvir Prasad, a 2000-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Energy. He has also been given charge as Chairman of major state power corporations, expanding his responsibilities across the state’s energy administration.
In his new role, Prasad will oversee the Energy Department and contribute to the administration of the state’s power sector. His additional responsibility as Chairman of major state power corporations places him in a key position for coordinating the functioning of these organisations.
