9th Digital Transformation Conclave

With this in focus, ‘9th National Digital Transformation Conclave’ was held on 10th of February in Chandigarh at Novotel Hotel. The one-day conclave witnessed a variety of sessions on implementation of ‘Digital Transformation Projects and Initiatives’ that have significantly enhanced public service efficiency and delivery. This one of a kind conclave was organized for the first timeby Department of Information Technology, Administration of Chandigarh in association with iLouge Media under the Leadership of Shri Dharam Pal,Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh Administration. The Program Chair for the Conclave was Shri Nitin Kumar Yadav, Home Secretary & Secretary Information Technology, Administration of Chandigarh and the Co-Program Chair for the Conclave was Shri Rupesh Kumar, Director Information Technology Department, Administration of Chandigarh

Eminent speakers from various key departments of Central and State Government discussedthe opportunities and benefits that come with the digitalization of public services. Their expertise have identified key areas of digitalization to make the citizen-centric public services accessible digitally.

Further, the speakers briefedus on how governments across the states are harnessing digital tools and effectively using resources to make the living conditions of citizens more efficient through smart city projects. These cities make the most out of technologies to improve services, sustainability, and overall economic growth.

The Conclave provided a platform for thought-provoking discussions, ideas exchange, and collaboration between experts and stakeholders from the public and private sectors. The theme of this Conclave was to reflect the pressing need for digital transformation in the public sector and its potential to bring about positive change through collaborative efforts and open discussions, to shape a brighter future for India.

One of the key takeaways from today’s event was the importance of citizen engagement in digital transformation where Government agencies must work closely with citizens and other stakeholders to understand their needs and to co-create solutions that deliver the best possible outcomes.
