Patna: A notification has been issued by the General Administration Department regarding the transfer posting of IAS officers. The Bihar government has also directed these officers to promptly assume their responsibilities in their new positions.

According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department, Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary of the Finance Department, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Principal Secretary of the Planning and Development Department.
The Bihar Government has appointed Santosh Kumar Mall, Principal Secretary of the Information Technology Department, as the Principal Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department. In addition, he has also been given the additional charge of Managing Director of the Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
The additional responsibility of Secretary, Information Technology Department and MD of Beltron has been assigned to Abhay Kumar Singh, who is currently serving as the Tourism Department Secretary.
In addition, Abhay Kumar Singh has been relieved from his additional charge as MD of COMFED. Meanwhile, Prabhakar, a consultant to Bihar State Planning Board, has been appointed as the new MD of COMFED.
