Senior IAS officer Vinay Kumar Chaubey, of the 1999 batch, has been reinstated as the Principal Secretary to Jharkhand’s newly sworn-in Chief Minister, Champai Soren.
The decision follows the recent resignation of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, creating a need for an experienced hand to navigate the state’s affairs during this politically sensitive period.
Chaubey, who had initially stepped down from the position, has been reappointed, emphasizing his pivotal role in managing the transition.
