TNOU to introduce app for students to enroll in the offered courses

Students seeking admission in courses offered by the Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU) can now enroll through a mobile application. TNOU has decided to develop an end-to-end integrated learning management system with a mobile app to give a one-stop solution for students.

The app is being designed to facilitate the students with the complete enrollment process to get access to study material. It aims to bring all the offered services under one umbrella. K Parthasarathy, Vice-Chancellor said that they are working on designing the app on a priority basis and plan to launch in April or May. The new app will make all the courses accessible to students, especially to students residing in the rural areas.

Official also added that introducing new courses, an updated or revamped syllabus, and better awareness about the varsity’s courses have helped attract a good number of students. TNOU is currently offering 155 undergraduate and post-graduate courses.
