SECI Partners with H2Global Stiftung to Boost Green Hydrogen Initiatives

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI), under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has signed the MoU with H2Global Stiftung to establish a collaborative framework aimed at promoting Green Hydrogen initiatives. This strategic partnership is set to enhance knowledge exchange on market-based mechanisms and strengthen cooperation between India and importing nations, furthering the global Green Hydrogen economy.

The MoU was signed by Sanjay Sharma, Director (Solar), SECI, and Dr. Susana Moreira, Executive Director, H2Global Stiftung, in the presence of notable dignitaries including Timo Bollerhey, CEO of HintCo; Markus Exenberger, Executive Director of H2Global Foundation; Prashant Kumar Singh, Secretary (MNRE); Abhay Bhakare, Mission Director, National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM); Dr. Prasad Chapekar, DS (MNRE); and K.R. Jyothi Lal, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Kerala.

The collaboration seeks to drive joint efforts in designing and structuring tenders, aligning with India’s goal of becoming a global hub for the export of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives. By leveraging shared expertise, the partnership aims to provide valuable insights into international hydrogen market dynamics, trade logistics, and effective stakeholder engagement.
