The admission process for the Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) across Rajasthan, including Sikar, has officially commenced. Aspiring technical education students can apply online until the deadline of 10th July. This initiative aims to provide high school students with industry-related education, equipping them with the necessary skills for the job market.
The ITIs, established by the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, offer a variety of vocational training courses. These programs, which are delivered under the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), cater to various sectors of the economy.
To successfully complete an ITI course, candidates must demonstrate several key competencies:
- Ability to read and interpret technical parameters/documents, plan and organize work processes, and identify necessary tools.
- Competence in documenting technical parameters related to their tasks.
- Application of professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills while performing tasks.
- Adherence to safety rules, accident prevention regulations, and environmental protection guidelines.
Completing an ITI course opens up numerous career opportunities for students. Graduates can work as technical assistants in the railways and the army, secure government jobs in the police department, or find employment with companies like Tata Motors, Hyundai, and Suzuki. Additionally, they have the option to start their own businesses.
The Superintendent of Karmabai Government Industrial Training Institute in Laxmangarh announced that helpdesks have been established at the institute to assist students with any admission-related queries or issues.
