Ajit Kumar Appointed as CFO of India International Centre

The India International Centre (IIC) has appointed Ajit Kumar, former Director of Finance at the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kumar, who belongs to the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) and served IRCTC since 1989, completed his tenure at the organization last month.

The CFO position at IIC had remained vacant for the last 5-6 years, being managed under an ad hoc arrangement. Kumar’s extensive experience in financial management, particularly in the public sector, is expected to bring fresh direction and stability to IIC’s financial operations.

The India International Centre is a premier cultural and intellectual hub in the capital, and this appointment comes as a significant step in strengthening its administrative framework.
