Ankur Baruah Selected as Director (HR), Oil India Limited

The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has selected Ankur Baruah for the position of Director (Human Resources) at Oil India Limited (OIL), a Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). The decision was made following a competitive selection process in which 12 candidates were interviewed.

Ankur Baruah currently serves as Executive Director (HR) at Corporate HR, Noida, within Oil India Limited.

The post of Director (HR) at OIL is currently vacant. Subject to requisite clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Baruah will officially assume the role.

Oil India Limited, headquartered in Duliajan, Assam, is the country’s second-largest national oil and gas company and plays a critical role in India’s energy sector. The appointment of Baruah is expected to bolster the company’s strategic HR initiatives, workforce development, and organizational growth.
