Anuj Kumar Singh Appointed Joint Secretary at UPSC

Anuj Kumar Singh, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) from the 2009 batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary (Director level) in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Delhi. His appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T) issued an official memorandum stating that Singh was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways and has been selected for this key assignment. He has been instructed to assume his new role immediately.

As per the guidelines set by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Singh must join the post within three weeks from the date of the DoP&T’s appointment order, failing which debarment proceedings from the Central Staffing Scheme will be initiated.
