A Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed between the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) and Anna University (AU), Chennai for cooperation and collaboration in mutual areas of interest.
During the meeting, a one-year roadmap of activities, including a brainstorming session, development of a joint research proposal, establishment of Homoeopathy research OPD on the campus of AU, etc., was discussed. Dr Subhash Kaushik highlighted the major activities and achievements of CCRH, significant research undertaken through collaboration and presented publications of CCRH to Prof. J. Prakash.
The agreement was signed by Dr Subhash Kaushik, Director General, CCRH, and Prof. J. Prakash, Registrar, Anna University, in the presence of Dr. Gunasekaran, Director, Planning and Development, AU.
Representatives present during the MOU signing from Anna University were Dr Arunbabu, Deputy Director, P&D; Dr Neelakandan, Prof & Head, Department of Textile Technology; Dr Tamilselvan, Associate Prof, Department of Biotechnology; Dr Anandakumar, Associate Prof, Dept of Chemistry; Dr Durgalakshmi, Assistant Professor, Department of Medical Physics and from CCRH were Dr D Karthikeyan, Scientist-3, Officer Incharge, Homoeopathy Research Institute for Disabilities, Chennai and Dr Kolli Raju, Consultant, HRID, Chennai.
The signing of the MoU was facilitated and coordinated by Prof. Dr. G. Nandhini Devi, Director, CTTM, Anna University and Dr Deepti Singh, Research Officer/Scientist-2 from CCRH Hqrs. This MoU represents a significant step toward integrated research activities and the exchange of research facilities, knowledge and expertise.
