Ayurveda centres to be set up at 37 cantonment hospitals: Defence Ministry

The Defence Ministry said on Wednesday that Ayurveda centres will be set up at 37 cantonment hospitals and 12 military healthcare facilities. The ministry also said it has signed two MoUs with the Ministry of Ayush (MoA) for setting up the Ayurveda centres.

The Defence Ministry in a statement said, “Two Memorandum of Understandings have been signed between the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Ayush. The one MoU is for starting Ayurveda centres at 37 cantonment hospitals and another for setting up Ayurveda centres at 12 military hospitals of Armed Forces Medical Services.”

The MoU between the two ministries were signed during the 3-day event, the Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit.
