The Himachal Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur transferred six officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on Wednesday.
In a fresh administrative reshuffle, Rakhil Kahlon has been appointed as divisional commissioner, Mandi. Gopal Chand will take the charge as director, (personnel and finance), Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board, Shimla.
Rupali Thakur has been appointed as director, the women and child development department. Rima Kashyap will be serving as special secretary, tourism and civil aviation. Kiran Bhadana has been posted as special secretary (MPP & Power and NCES).
Manmohan Sharma will continue to function as director, urban development, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, and chief executive officer-cum-managing director, Shimla Smart City Limited. Sharma will also continue to hold the additional charge of the post of MD, Shimla Jal Prabandhan Nigam Limited.
