Senior IAS officer Bandana Preyasi of the 2003 batch has been appointed as the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar. She will also hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar State Women and Child Development Corporation.
Prior to this appointment, Ms. Preyasi was serving as Deputy Secretary in the Industry Department. Known for her administrative acumen and commitment to public service, she brings extensive experience in governance and development sectors.
