Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and CEO of the India AI Mission, assumed charge as the Director General of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) today.
With a distinguished career in governance and digital transformation, Singh brings a wealth of experience to NIC, the key organization providing e-Governance support to the Government of India. Known for his leadership in steering the India AI Mission, he has been instrumental in promoting artificial intelligence for inclusive growth, innovation, and strategic policymaking across sectors.
