In a strategic administrative overhaul, the state government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the transfer and posting of three IAS officers. This reshuffle aims to optimize administrative efficiency and align officers with roles that leverage their expertise.
Pulkit Khare the 2011 batch IAS officer, who was serving as ACEO (Additional Chief Executive Officer) of Greater Noida, has been placed on the waiting list. In the latest reshuffle, Sunil Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new ACEO of Greater Noida. Singh, a 2016 batch IAS officer, previously held the position of Special Secretary in the Housing and Urban Planning Department.The 2020 batch IAS officer, Abhishek Kumar, has been appointed as the CDO (Chief Development Officer) of Hapur.
Ajay Kumar Gautam, currently serving as Joint Magistrate in Kanpur, has been appointed as the CDO of Etawah, contributing to the developmental goals of the region. The earlier appointment of IAS officer Sukhlal Bharti as Special Secretary Secondary Education has been cancelled. He will now continue in his role as Special Secretary APC Branch.
In addition to these IAS officer transfers, four Additional Deputy Commissioners of Police (ADCP) position have also witnessed changes in Lucknow. ADCP Vishwajeet Srivastava will take on additional responsibilities, including the protocol and charge of the western zone. ADCP Jaya Shandilya will oversee protocol work along with handling cases of crime against women. Kripa Shankar has been assigned the role of ADCP High Court Security, while ADCP Ashok Kumar, previously serving in High Court security, has been transferred to Headquarters Crime Branch.
This administrative reshuffle is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance and enhance the effectiveness of public service delivery in the state.
