The UT Education Department has successfully allotted 2,061 seats following the second round of counselling for Class 11 admissions to government schools. The process attracted 4,482 entries from students across government and other schools.
Out of the total seats allocated in this round, 114 were assigned to students from government schools, 217 to students from other schools, 1,416 to government migration cases, and 314 to migration cases from other schools.
The first round of counselling had already filled 96% of the available seats, leaving limited opportunities for the subsequent rounds. In the initial round, 2,066 seats were secured by government school students, while 611 seats were allocated to students from other schools.
Students who were allocated seats in the second round have until August 13 to submit their documents for verification. Due to some seats remaining unallocated after the second round, the department has announced that an additional round of counselling will be held.
For the upcoming third round, forms will be available for Class 10 pass-outs from both government and other schools starting August 21. The last date for form submission is August 26, with online verification of documents scheduled for August 28. The final allocation of schools and streams will take place on August 30.
