The University of Delhi has released its simulated rank list for undergraduate admissions for the year 2024. This crucial list allows candidates to estimate their chances of securing admission to their preferred courses and colleges based on their performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024. Aspirants can access their ranks by logging into the official DU UG admissions portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Candidates have until 11:59 PM on August 13 to make changes to their course and college preferences in light of their simulated ranks. This adjustment window will directly impact the first round of seat allocations, which are slated to be announced on August 16.
To check their simulated ranks, students must log in using their CUET application number and password. Upon logging in, they can view their tentative ranks and adjust their preferences accordingly. This process is designed to help applicants align their choices with their realistic chances of admission, thereby enhancing their opportunities.
With over 2.45 lakh students applying for the first phase of DU’s UG Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2024, competition is fierce for the more than 70,000 seats available in various undergraduate programs. Popular courses like BCom (Honours) are particularly in demand.
Delhi University has encouraged all candidates to use this opportunity to reassess and finalise their preferences to maximise their chances of securing admission to their desired courses and colleges.
