CISCE Revolutionizes Exam Result Declaration with DigiLocker Integration

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has seamlessly integrated with the DigiLocker platform to declare the results of the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) examinations for the year 2024. This initiative marks a significant leap forward in the realm of education technology, allowing over 3.43 lakh students to access their academic awards swiftly and securely.

A total of 2,43,617 students appeared for the ICSE exams, while 99,901 students took the ISC exams this year. The overall pass percentage for ICSE 2024 stands at an impressive 99.47%, with girls outshining boys with a pass percentage of 99.65% compared to 99.31% for boys. Similarly, in the ISC exams, 98.19% of students cleared the examinations, with girls once again surpassing boys with a pass percentage of 98.92% versus 97.53%.

Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive & Secretary of CISCE, announced the landmark achievement, emphasizing the real-time accessibility of examination results via DigiLocker and the CISCE website. He underscored the significance of this digital transformation, highlighting the instant availability of marksheets and certificates in a secure digital format.

The DigiLocker platform, a flagship initiative under the Digital India campaign, has played a pivotal role in facilitating this revolutionary step. Providing a secure, trusted, and eco-friendly solution for issuing and accessing academic credentials, DigiLocker has empowered students to conveniently access their authentic digital documents anytime, anywhere.

With 2,42,328 students passing the ICSE exams and 98,088 students clearing the ISC exams across India and abroad, this integration with DigiLocker signifies a paradigm shift in how educational institutions disseminate examination results and academic awards. As the education landscape embraces digital innovation, CISCE’s collaboration with DigiLocker sets a new standard for transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in the dissemination of academic credentials.
