New Delhi: In a significant advancement in fulfilling the ongoing commitment to offer employment opportunities to young individuals and ensure the welfare of citizens, Coal India Limited and NLCIL, under the Ministry of Coal, have effectively conducted a recruitment drive in a mission-based approach since July 2022.
The progress made by Coal India Limited and NLCIL in terms of targets and appointment letters issued under Mission Mode Recruitment, as of August 21, 2023, is significant.
Coal India Limited, in its unwavering pursuit of its Mission, has conducted recruitment drives in seven phases. Coal India Limited (CIL) has issued a total of 7,268 appointment letters, exceeding the target of 3,969, demonstrating a remarkable growth rate of 83.11%. In August 2023, the target was 465, and a total of 574 appointment letters were distributed.
NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has also demonstrated exceptional dedication by exceeding the target and issuing 528 appointment letters as of September 19, 2023, indicating an impressive growth rate of 10%. In July 2023, NLCIL aimed to issue 75 appointment letters, but they surpassed expectations by granting 149.
