Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has announced the appointment of Deepak Kumar Barik as Executive Director (Law) on the company’s Board, effective May 15, 2025.
He brings with him over 25 years of extensive experience in the field of law. Prior to joining IREDA, he served as Chief General Manager (Law) at GAIL (India) Limited, where he played a key role in legal strategy and compliance.
He holds Degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law (LL.B), and Master of Arts in Mathematics from Sambalpur University. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Law (LL.M) from Utkal University.
