Department of Water Resources Announces Mass Communication Internship Programme

The Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD, GR), under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, has introduced a Mass Communication Internship Programme aimed at students and research scholars in India. This initiative is designed to provide practical exposure to media and social media activities related to the Department’s work.

Eligible candidates include those pursuing graduate or post-graduate degrees, or enrolled as research scholars in recognized universities or institutions in the field of Mass Communication. Additionally, graduates in mass communication, journalism, or related fields, as well as those pursuing postgraduate or diploma studies in these areas, are also eligible.

The internship spans six to nine months and offers an honorarium of Rs.15,000 per month. Upon successful completion, interns will receive a certificate of internship. The programme seeks to immerse selected candidates in the Department’s media activities, offering hands-on experience in a dynamic governmental setting.
