The Government of India has assigned Devesh Chaturvedi, a senior IAS officer, the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE). Chaturvedi, who is currently serving as the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, will take on this new responsibility with immediate effect.
The decision was formally approved by the Competent Authority and was conveyed through an official notification from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions on March 3. He will continue in this position until a regular appointment is made or further instructions are issued.
