The Government of India has announced a series of senior-level administrative appointments and tenure extensions across key departments, including the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, and Coal India Limited.

Dinesh Hariram Mate (IA&AS: 2012) has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG) at the Deputy Secretary level in the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways. His appointment will be for a period of four years.

Purna Chandra Kishan (IAS: 2005: RJ), serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds.

The tenure of Brajesh Kumar Tripathy (IRSE: 1998) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Coal India Limited (CIL), Kolkata, has been extended for two years, up to November 15, 2027.
