DPIIT and YES BANK Forge Partnership to Strengthen India’s Startup Ecosystem

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has entered into a MoU with YES BANK. This collaboration aims to drive innovation and provide essential support to product startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs nationwide.

The partnership will leverage DPIIT’s Startup India initiative along with YES BANK’s financial expertise to facilitate market linkages, funding opportunities, mentorship, and infrastructure support for early-stage ventures. Startups will benefit from YES BANK’s HeadStartup program, which offers customized banking and financial solutions, including working capital, credit access, and cash flow management. Additionally, entrepreneurs will gain access to YES BANK’s extensive network, strategic alliances, and industry knowledge, enabling them to scale their operations and attract investments efficiently.

Speaking on the occasion, Joint Secretary of DPIIT, Sanjiv, underscored the importance of the collaboration, stating, “India’s manufacturing and startup ecosystem is at a transformative stage. Partnerships like this play a vital role in fostering innovation-driven growth. We are pleased to collaborate with YES BANK to equip emerging startups with the right resources and opportunities to expand and succeed.”

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Sumeet Jarangal, Director at DPIIT, and Rohit Aneja, Zonal Head at YES BANK, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
