Proteek Kumar Chakraborty Appointed as Director (Finance) of ECIL

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has announced the appointment of Proteek Kumar Chakraborty as its new Director (Finance). His selection was recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).

Chakraborty, who currently serves as the Additional General Manager (Finance) at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), brings a wealth of experience in financial management and strategic planning. In his new role at ECIL, he will be a key member of the Board of Directors and will report directly to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).

As Director (Finance), Chakraborty will oversee ECIL’s finance and accounts functions, playing a crucial role in shaping financial policies and ensuring their effective implementation. His expertise is expected to strengthen ECIL’s financial operations and contribute to the company’s overall growth and stability.

ECIL, a public sector enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, is a leader in electronics and information technology solutions, catering to critical sectors such as defense, space, and security. With Chakraborty at the financial helm, the organization anticipates enhanced fiscal governance and operational efficiency.
