Edtech firm CollegeDekho acquires its peer Getmyuni for Rs 50 crore

CollegeDekho, an Edtech firm has acquired Getmyuni for about Rs 50 crore. With this acquisition, the firm aims to accelerate its revenue growth. Getmyuni will continue to operate independently post the acquisition. Some of the leadership team is also expected to join the board of the combined entity.

CollegeDekho co-Founder and CEO Ruchir Arora said, “We have acquired 100% of Getmyuni which is also a college discovery platform for about Rs 50 crore in cash and equity mix. Getmyuni will continue to operate under their leadership. Some from their leadership team will also join CollegeDekho in the leadership ecosystem.”

Further he added that CollegDekho has been simultaneously growing approximately 100 per cent year-on-year. The net revenue in the last financial year was reported at Rs 50 crore. With this acquisition, we expect our revenue to grow 4 times of that. With Getmyuni, we will have about 50 percent of all students query through us.
