India’s leading EdTech firms including Unacademy, Byju’s, upGrad, Simplilearn, and Vedantu had announced the formation of the India EdTech Consortium (IEC) under the aegis of Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). The IEC will ensure that every learner have access to quality education and is also light on their pocket which will improve their academic performance and make them future-ready.
Aligning to the government’s advisory, the EdTech firms endeavor to observe and adhere to a common ‘code of conduct’ and establish a two-tier grievance readdresal mechanism so that the positive impact of the industry reaches every deserving consumer. It is deeply committed to protecting their interests and promoting their rights.

Several edtech such as Byju’s, Careers 360, Classplus, Doubtnut, Great Learning, Harappa, Times Edutech & Events Ltd, Scaler, Simplilearn, Toppr, Unacademy, upGrad, UNext Learning, Vedantu, and WhiteHat Jr have associated with IEC. The EdTech ecosystem has impacted over 500 million school and college and working professionals across the country.
